Buttermilk Cornbread

1/2 c butter melted
2/3 c sugar
1 c buttermilk
2 eggs
1/2 t baking soda
1 c corn meal
1 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla

Stir together and pour into a greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
