Ginger Creams

Cream together:

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup shortening
4 Tbls. molasses
1 egg

Then add:
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together for 1 hour. Roll into small balls (like snicker doodles) and dip in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
